In Wayne County, LINK is a central place:
- If you have a disability and need assistance
- If you support someone who has a disability
- If you are 60 or older
- If you support someone who is 60 and older
- If you simply have questions or concerns about disability or aging issues
LINK Information
LINK is the first place to go to get accurate, unbiased information on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability. LINKS are friendly, welcoming places where anyone – individuals, concerned families or friends, or professionals working with issues related to aging or disabilities can go for information specifically tailored to their situation. LINK provides information on a broad range of programs and services, helps people understand the various long term care options available to them, helps people apply for programs and benefits and serves as the access point for publicly – funded long term care.
Assistive Technology
The PA Assistive Technology Foundation developed a guide to help Pennsylvanians learn how to access assistive technology -- including home modifications, vehicle adaptations, hearing aids, smart home devices and durable medical equipment through the state's new Community Health Choices Medicaid managed care program.
