Although there is no fee for meals, our Wayne County Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council recommends that a minimum of $3.00 donation be offered for those ages 60 & above, $9.00 for those under 60 years of age, for each meal . Frozen meals are also offered, $15.00 for frozen 5-pack of meals or $21.00 for 7 frozen meals. We realize that, given the opportunity, people enjoy contributing to services offered to them.
Also, there are many misconceptions about funding for meals. The Federal Government and the Pennsylvania Lottery provide only a portion of the total cost.
