[ARCHIVED] Grants Available to Help Arts & Culture Organizations in Wayne County

HONESDALE -- Wayne County Commissioners encourage those involved in the arts and culture community in WSayne Countyto apply for grant money being offerest by the state to help offset lost revenues and to bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 ARPA PA Arts and Culture Recovery Program was created to provide grants to nonprofit arts and culture organizations, local arts and culture districts and culture professionals located in the Commonwealth to ensure the stability of the Commonwealths arts and culture sector following the  pandemic.

Similar to the previous CARES funding for non-profits, this grant seeks to provide grants to nonprofit arts and culture organizations for revenues lost due to the pandemic, funding for operating functions, recruit or retain staff and cost related to new programs or marketing.  The minimum grant is $ 25,000, and the maximum is 25% of the operating budget or $ 500,000.

Applicants must be a 501C3, been established since March of 2019, have an operating budget over $ 100,000, have one full-time professional and be registered with the PA Bureaus of Charitable Organizations.
