HONESDALE -- Wayne County will hold a public hearing at 10 am on Thursday, Oct. 13 at the County Courthouse, 925 ourt Street, Honesdale, to accept public comment on plan to allocate the Community Development Block Grant Funds
FFY 2022 CDBG Plan
Wayne County is expected to receive an entitlement grant of $256,093 in FFY2022 CDBG funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and proposes using the funds for the following purposes:

Wayne County on behalf of the Borough of Honesdale is expected to receive an entitlement grant of$98,498 in FFY2022 CDBG funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and proposes using the funds for the following purposes:

Wayne County on behalf of Salem Township is expected to receive an entitlement grant of $96,236 in FFY2022 CDBG funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and proposes using the funds for the following purposes:

All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and will be offered the opportunity to give oral testimony at the Public Hearing and/or to present written comments concerning the needs of Wayne County proposed CDBG Program activities, the prior use of CDBG funds, as well as the CDBG Program in general.
