[ARCHIVED] County Commissioners Want to Answer Questions About Resassessment

The Wayne County Commissioners will host another series of public information sessions across the county to discuss the Countywide Property Reassessment. They want to address the questions, concerns, myths and facts regarding the process.

For those that are unable to attend one of these sessions, a website dedicated to educating residents and answering questions regarding the county’s Property Tax Reassessment Project is available.   On that site, you can view a 30-minute video that covers most of this information and explains in detail why the previous assessments were unbalanced and not fair, and why the commissioners proceeded with correcting it. http://www.waynecountypa.gov/869/5888/Countywide-Property-Tax-Reassessment.
