Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the arrest of Nelson A. Corey, 70, of Clinton Township on a variety of counts of Dissemination and Possession of Child Pornography, graded from Felonies of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degrees. According to the police criminal complaint filed by PA State Police Trooper Gabriel Paduck, task force agencies received information from undercover investigators who seek illegal files of child abuse material being traded online.
On Aug. 11, PA State Police executed a search warrant on a residence for the child abuse investigation. The residence is located on Belmont Turnpike, Clinton Township. The defendant’s device was seized for a forensic examination, which showed the defendant to be in possession of child abuse material. The defendant was criminally charged with the possession and dissemination of Sexual Abuse of Children.
A preliminary arraignment was held by the Magisterial District Judge Linus Myers and remanded to Wayne County Correctional Facility on $75,000 cash bail. A central court appearance will be set for the next week days.
