HONESDALE -- On Friday, September 11, the nation marks the anniversiary of the Terrorist Attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 with a day of service and remembrance, Patriot Day.
Wayne County residents are asked to remember the grim events of that day by visiting one of the several memorials in the County or by silently remembering September 11th at 9 AM wherever you might be.
This year is the 19th anniversary of the Terrorist Attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in the fields of Somerset County, PA. People are encouraged to remember September 11, 2001, by visiting the 9/11 Memorial, located at 925 Court Street, Honesdale in front of the Dimmock Building beginning at 9 AM. All are invited to attend and pay their respects.
