[ARCHIVED] Drug Possession, Corruption of Minors Among Court Cases

HONESDALE -- Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announces the following cases addressed by the President Judge Janine Edwards in Wayne County Court June 11:

JEFFREY DRUMM, 36, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 3 months nor more than 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $300.00, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all treatment recommendations. The incident occurred on September 9, 2019 in the Honesdale Borough.

BRADLEY MACMASTER, 27, of Equinunk was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 1 month nor more than 60 months, less 1 day, for one count of Corruption of Minors (F3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution and is a Tier I offender who is subject to a 15 year registration period. The incident occurred on July 8, 2018 in Clinton Township, Wayne County.

THOMAS GUENTHER, 55, of Gouldsboro was placed on probation for a period of 6 months for one count of DUI (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $500.00, and be placed on House Arrest with Electronic and Alcohol Monitoring through the SCRAM Program for a period of 10 days, and participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his drug and alcohol assessment. The incident occurred on August 3, 2019 in Lehigh Township.

PIERSON BLAIR, 22, of Honesdalewas sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months for two counts of DUI (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $1,300.00, be placed on House Arrest with Electronic and Alcohol Monitoring through the SCRAM Program for a period of 5 days, and will be placed on probation for 12 months. The first incident occurred on February 25, 2019, in Texas Township, Wayne County with his B.A.C. a .170%. The second incident occurred on April 11, 2019, in Texas Township, Wayne County with his B.A.C. a .109%.

ROBBIE BRILE, 63, of Boyertown was admitted into the ARD program for 6 months for one count of DUI (M). The incident occurred on September 22, 2019 in Lehigh Township.

JAMES WEISS, 24, of Thornhurst was admitted into the ARD program for 6 months for one count of Sale or Transfer of a Firearm (F3). The incident occurred on March 3, 2019 in Salem Township.
