[ARCHIVED] Planning Dept. Provides Alternatives to Visiting the Office

Wayne County Logo-01

HONESDALE -- In light of the recent concerns with Covid-19, the Department of Planning/GIS ask individuals to consider first, before coming to the office, if the information you require can be obtained in another manner.  We would like to note the following:

  • The office maintains a website that includes valuable information, including but not limited to, municipal contact information, municipal zoning maps, and other resource information. This information can be found at https://waynecountypa.gov/202/PlanningGIS.
  • Any requests for mapping such as aerial photos or other digital geographic information can be made by phone or email.  We can be reached by telephone at 570-253-5970, Ext. 4060 and via email at wcpd@waynecountypa.gov.  If a map or other information needs to be distributed, we can do so via email or traditional mail.
  • We would also like to remind you that we do have a public facing mapping website where parcel information can be obtained.  Wayne County’s Interactive Map, along with other mapping information, can be found at https://waynecountypa.gov/303/Mapping-Services.

The Office will remain open, staffed, and here to serve the residents of Wayne County.  We ask that you utilize email, traditional mail and the telephone as much as it is possible in lieu of face to face public interaction.

If you have any concerns or need any Planning or GIS assistance that cannot be obtained online, please call our office at 570-253-5970, Ext. 4060.
