HONESDALE -- Wayne County President Judge Janine Edwards handed down the following sentenced in the Wayne County Court of Common Please on Thursday, Dec. 26:
JEREMIAH GUTHRIE, age 50, of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 12 months nor more than 24 months for one count of Criminal Conspiracy-Possession of a Controlled Substance (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution. Continue with drug and alcohol treatment and comply with all recommendations for treatment, Continue with mental health treatment and comply with all recommendations, and obtain full time employment within 30 days of parole or provided documentation from a doctor precluding you from employment. The incident occurred on October 4th through 8th, 2018 in Berlin Township, Wayne County.
BRYAN HAINES, age 36, of Scranton, PA, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 6 months nor more than 12 months for one count of Driving While Operating Privileges Suspended/Revoked 3rd/Subsequent Violation (M3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and pay a fine in the amount of $2,500.00. Undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and obtain full time employment within 30 days of parole or provided documentation from a doctor precluding you from employment. The incident occurred on May 11, 2019 in Salem Township, Wayne County.
TRICIA BATES, age 50, of Waymart, PA, was placed on was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 25 hours of community service and have her operator’s privileges suspended for 30 days. The incident occurred on July 28, 2019 in Hawley Borough, Wayne County. Her blood test revealed a BAC of .158%.
SARAH BOGURSKY, age 24, of Glen Wild, NY, was placed on was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 25 hours of community service. The incident occurred on July 11, 2019 in Sterling Township, Wayne County.
