HONESDALE -- The Wayne Conservation District, working in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), hosts an educational workshop on Friday, June 28, at the Wayne County Park Street Complex, 648 Park Street in Honesdale. The workshop will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end with a provided luncheon.
The objective of the workshop is to inform participants about the types of funding sources that are available to farmers in our community for conservation practices on their farms. The Natural Resources Conservation Service will provide a presentation regarding Federal Farm Bill programs and how they can be utilized. Representatives from the Wayne Conservation District will be providing presentations on the Resource Enhancement and Protection Program and services provided through the District.
