HONESDALE – Senior Judge Raymond Hamill sentenced Richard Souder, 27, of Eg Harbor, NJ, to one to five years in a State Correctional Facility on a felony count of forgery in Wayne County Court Thursday.
Souder was also ordered to pay more than $2,100 in restitution, and submit to a DNA sample after a Jan. 24, 2017 incident in Lehigh Township.
Also, James Webb, 28, of Cleveland, OH, will spend the next six to 36 months in State prison for one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property. He was ordered to pay more than $1,000 in restitution for than March 26, 2015 incident in Texas Township.
Judge Hamill also handed down the following sentences Thursday, June 28:
MICHAEL KEANE, 27, of Hawley was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 12 months nor more than 36 months for one count of Delivery of Controlled Substance-Heroin (F). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000, resolve all warrants within 30 days of parole, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, perform 100 hours of community service, and submit to the drawing of a DNA sample, and pay $250 for the cost. The incident occurred on April 25, 2017, in Paupack Township.
JOSEPH WOLFE, 32, of Lake Ariel was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 1 month nor more than 18 months for two counts of Theft by Deception-False Impression (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution in the amount of $2,850, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, undergo a mental health evaluation, and resolve all outstanding warrants within 60 months. The incident occurred on September 7 in Lake Township.
DEENA WHITFIELD, 33, of Lake Ariel was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 5 days nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI (M) and one count of Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended/Revoked (S). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $700, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and perform 50 hours of community service within three months. The incident occurred on April 8, 2017, in Texas Township. Her BAC revealed a .145%.
DESTINY FRASCHILLA, 22, of Waymart was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 48 hours nor more than 6 months, followed by 12 months of probation for one count of DUI (M) and three counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment, and obtain full time employment within 30 days of sentence. The incidents occurred on September 29 in Palmyra Township, Wayne County, on October 13 in Honesdale Borough, Wayne County, and on October 29 in Honesdale Borough. Her blood test revealed a Controlled Substance.
FAITH COLLINS, 25, of Ashely was placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a period of 36 months for one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (F3). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution in the amount of $1,800, be placed on Electronic GPS Monitoring for a period of 6 months, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, and submit to the drawing of a DNA sample and pay $250 for the cost. The incident occurred between December 16, 2016 and January 8, 2017, in Honesdale Borough.
PETER JOHN TOMASETTI, 19, of Lake Ariel was placed on probation for a period of 24 months, for one count of Corruption of Minors (M1). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $250, pay restitution for any victim counseling not to exceed $10,000.00, no contact with the victim, no unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 18, undergo a psychosexual risk assessment within 30 days of sentencing, and maintain full-time employment or full-time student status. The incident occurred between August 30, 2017 and September 2, 2017, in Salem Township.
ROBERT KUESTER, 23, of Honesdale was placed on probation for a period of 18 months for two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, and obtain employment within 30 days of sentence. The incidents occurred on August 17, 2017in Texas Township and on January 9, 2018, in Honesdale Borough.
BRITTANI GILPIN, 30 of Moscow, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance (M). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $200, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, perform 50 hours of community service, and maintain employment. The incident occurred on October 11 in Texas Township.
