Villa Roma Resort Bus Trip Features 'Unexpected Boys'


HONESDALE -- The Wayne County Area Agency on Aging sponsors a bus trip to the Villa Roma Resort in Callicoon, NY, on Tuesdy, Oct. 16, for a performance of a Jersey Boys Tribute Show. Relive the hit Broadway show with the crowd-pleasing "Unexpected Boys" perfoming the music of Frankie Vali and The Four Seasons.

The group will be welcomed to the resort with a cake and coffee reception, and lunch will also be served, Meal choices include Chicken Francaise, Homemade Meatloaf or Eggplant Parmiigianino, which should be indicated at the time of reservation. The show will begin at approximately 1:45 pm with Bingo after the show. Guests can also use the indoor pool, jacuzzi and other resort amenities during their stay.

The cost is $75 per person, which due by Friday, Sept. 21 with checks made payable to Wayne County Aging. Money can only be refunded if the seat can be filled, and there will no refunds after Oct. 1. Reservations can be made by calling Marie at 510-253-5540 or Debbie at 570-630-2385.

The bus will leave from Hamlin Senior Center at 8:30 am, the Hawley Center at 9 o'clock and Honesdale McDonald's at 9:30, returning to Honesdale at 6 pm, Hawley at 6:30 and Hamlin at 7 o'clock.
