Drug Recovery Support
Recovery is Possible and These Local Organizations Can Help
It is the mission of the Wayne County Drug and Alcohol Commission to prevent the onset of substance use disorders whenever possible, intervene with appropriate services when risks factor for substance use disorder are present, and mitigate their negative impact on the individual, his or her family and the community. This mission is accomplished through the Commission’s provision of a variety of cost effective, evidence based prevention and intervention services, professional drug and alcohol screening and assessment services, case management, recovery support services, and a full continuum of treatment services including medication assisted treatment.
